Yet another newcomer seeking wisdom
Hello to all! I just signed up moments ago, I am a long-time auto-hobbyist with plenty of experience in early Mustang restoration, much experience as a motorcyclist, I have wanted to plunge into the Turbo pool for a while now, so here we are. I am not the very best mechanic but i have a well-equipped shop and do all my own maint/repairs, and have a good selection of tools, grinders, gas welder, MIG.
The only thing I lack to get a turbo on my 2005 V6 Sierra is knowledge, experience. This will be my first effort but how tough can it be? Highschool kids are turboing their Geo Metros--I should be able to make a reasonable effort with my pickup. I will welcome all advice you may have. I assume the place to start is in the General Discussion area, right? |
