Newest Noob

Hi all. The name's Steve Jones, I live in Jonesborough TN, I have a 1991 Honda civic dx sedan that has been swapped with a d16a6 out of a 91 crx si, that I completely tore down, cleaned up, restored, and did a little extra work to as well. Like porting and polishing the head, ported the oil pump, bored the cylinders .040" over, milled the head, decked the block, and use a cometic hg, with arp head studs to achieve a 10.5:1 comp. ratio. The bottom end parts are all stock except for some ACL race rod and main bearings and 1mm over pm6 pistons. All (except for the boring, milling/decking, and piston pressing) was done by me in my garage, sometimes with the help of my buddy Trevor. Oh and I almost forgot, stock cam, bisimoto springs, and super tech machined valves.

Its been running strong naturally aspirated for almost a year now. It runs 16's in the 1320 (best yet is 16.3 at 88mph) with a stock 216,xxx mile dx long ass geared tranny, obd1 swapped with Neptune RTP, my street tune scaled for the Evo 560cc injectors (those costed me a little on the ET times haven't quite got the scale down pat yet), and Falken SN211's 195/65/14's. But now that i'm used to how much power it makes and I want more. So I've been gathering parts for a little while to add a dsm small 16g to the mix. So far I've got a VX exhaust mani, the small 16g, evo 1 intercooler, Evo 560cc injectors which are already installed, and an ebay charge pipe kit. Only a few more parts to go before I can get it all on!

I'm pretty excited about it as I have never even driven a boosted car before, only ridden in them. I've lurked on this forum for a little while, mainly getting here from google searches, so I figured I would join and start spending some more time here and eventually contributing back to the forum. I'll post up pictures of the car and of some turbo stuff the next time I get on when its not so late.

Note: I am a noob on THIS site, but I've been on other forums for a few years now so in real life I'm not so much of a noob, respectively.
