Hey guys. N00b to this forum. Not so n00b to cars if my portfolio has much to say about it...

But anyway, the list of stuff to boost

1993 Honda Legend "Type 2". 3.2L V6, FWD, 172kw. Completely stock, except for battery, head unit, and amplifier. Mums car. She won't let me but really think that it needs another 70kw or so to munch the local big cube muscle.

1994 Honda Prelude. VTEC. T3-T4, HKS this, Cusco that, AEM shiny parts also. Needs replacement turbo and dyno tune. *Should* be good for 300hp at the flywheel when it gets done. Stepdad's car. He lives out bush so he left his town car at my house. "Here's something cool I bought. Make it go, drive it, I'll pay". Can't argue with that...

1993 Ford Fairlane V8 (burnout car). Not in my posession yet. But it already has no rear brakes and a welded diff. 5L V8 designed to run on regular unleaded with only 165kw is really begging for boost. Has a well-known ECU as well. Rear mount turbo goodness for this one.

1984 Suzuki Mighty Boy (three of...). 800cc of 3 cylinder front wheel drive truck. Needs more grunt, already has largest bolt-in engine. Only easy answer is boost.

So yeah, that's the contents of my shed. A wide variety of things that either should have boost or need boost fixed.

Incidentally I just acquired a mig welder. Now that I can join metal in a brutal display of heat and electricity, I feel manly, and feel the need to make something manly. I'll probably start with the burnout car.

Incidentally, my aforementioned portfolio involves several custom wiring looms, a scratch built race car, a few auto-manual conversions, a Diploma in Automotive (Motorsports), and a few other things. I'm exceptional with theory and electronics, but lack the hands on fabrication skills. Let's hope that changes...

Welcome! Are you in Australia? Not sure what the Fairlane engine compartment looks like, but most Ford factory V8 cars have enough room under the hood to fit a turbo or two without going to a rear-mount.

Yes, and yes there is. But it's easier pipework and a burnout car has no ambient airflow. I need to keep my glowing pipes away from my meltables even more than a road car.
