Hey all. Im mark. I live in Maryland, but Im from Jacksonville, NC. Im starting my 331 Mustang build. I pretty much have all the details except a couple worked out. I need to pick out the turbo, and learn a little about piping size. As far as the turbo, ive been told to run everything from a S475 to a GT4788. I am actually leaning towrd the 475. Mainly because of the price. Also considering hitting the middle with a 480.

Heres the list so far:
331cid
Dart block
4340 crank/rods(Scat)
9.0:1 comp. Forged pistons: Still need to get these.
I have 2 sets of heads. 205 CNC'd TFS heads, and AFR 185's. Not sure which Im using yet. Probably the 185's though. So I can use the TFS heads on a N/A 351 I have.
Vic. Jr. intake thats been mildly ported and cleaned up real nice.
750cfm CSU, blow thru carb(Holley)
MSD Digital 7 ignition: Still need this as well

So the turbo, ignition box, and a set of pistons, and I'll be ready to rock. This is all in a '90 Mustang coupe. It weighs right at 2900 with me in it. Currently has a Performance Automatic C-4. With a 3500 stall nitrous converter. I was told this probably isnt the best, but it would still work well for what Im doing. So Im going to run it. Atleast for a little while. I swapped the 4.30's out already for a set of 3.55's. I do have 3.73's but from what Ive read most people have better luck with the higher gears. Theyre in a 35 spline 8.8 with a spool. I think thats everything. Sorry for the long write up. Glad to be here. Im looking forward to meeting some of y'all and learning a bit. All comments, suggestions, and questions are more than welcome

I dont really have any good pics of it. My PB account got deleted and I lost what I did have. I dont have internet at home right now, and I cant upload anythig on the work PC. I just moved out of Comcast service area. I have direct TV now. I just dont know if thats the best I'll be able to do for internet or not. Suggestions on internet providers for people with no cable access anyone ?

I have enough pics that you can see what it looks like anyway. lol Theyre from a phone. So theyre kinda hazy looking. The damn wheels arent even shiney. lol
I actually just got it back from my dad. I sold it to him about 5 years ago. There's been some changes since he's had it. Not for the better either. It had a serpentine setup, Holley HP 750 carb, K&N breathers, and the valve covers are the silver TFS ones. He painted them black. That didnt make me happy. Since the engine was still mine. I just sold the roller to him, and let him use my engine, ect. Since i didnt have any use for it. The black covers actually looked good, but now the paint is coming off. As you can see.
Im going to be doing some mods while Im doing the turbo install too. Like smooth and repaint the bay. Since i'll have the red paint anyway. I'll probably paint the black stripe on the side too. The one pic I did have of the complete outside. I resized it in PB to use as an AV. Instead of "save a copy". I clicked "replace". So all I have is a tiny one now, but here it is. lol

Then I have one where I repainted the sides on the cowl hood silver.
