new to HMT in PA

Hello all, I have a horrible addiction to the 80s&90s fwd turbo mopars. I do like other makes and models, im just most familiar with the 8 valve 2.2+2.5. I recently gave my sohc 3spd auto 01 neon to a friend, she says its too slow....she is right. I want to conjure up a cheap mild turbo setup for it. I have a few spare garrett t3 turbos and a mitsu Teo4h. I have no problem fabbing simple parts, what scares me is fueling and timing. I dont want to go MS or srt4 swap too pricey for what the car is...but i do have spare time. Hoping a RRR set up with the fuel system reworked (spoolboy mod), can get me maybe 7psi. Any suggestions or thoughts would be great, except for "drive the POS off a cliff" lol

Welcome! I used to have a 2.5 Turbo powered LeBaron myself - fun little car.

As Neons have a crank fired ignition, there's not much that can be done to adjust the timing - that worries me a bit. I personally would rather use an MS - but I am a bit biased; see where I work. :D

Just what exactly am i looking at for a basic MS setup to make the car ok with some boost?

An MS2 solder it yourself kit, JimStim test board, and basic harness would be around $400.
