hello you guys,i'm a 26year old from holland,like to share one of my projects.
it all started with a 1.6 mk3 golf and the need for more power.didn't want to follow everyone else doing vr or g60 swaps,instead i built this;




setup;
1.6ltr,enginecode aea.
bonestock bottom-end
decompressionplate
eaton m45
kms-fuel,as addition to the stock mono-motronic injectionsystem.
generated about 150hp,but it wasn't longlasting.


hoisted engine out,replaced for stock original and sold the car.
i wanted to rebuild the engine for another car,but this time my goal was to build it reliable and safe.
learned some lessons from what i saw dismantling the engine,and started from scratch.



cylinderhead taken care of....

rothe motorsport connecting rods;and home-milled pistons,compressionratio now 1: 8,6.


all together,warm and cosy....main bearings are stock,rod bearings are tdi-pd ones.

engine and trans together,i used a new clutch-setup for caddy tdi.
this is where i am at now,engine is ready to go into this;

at this point i'm busy prepping the car,wiring needs to be changed from carb to digifant[g60].

some additional info about me;

i'm a mechanic for a living,besides that i'm a bit of a 'motorhead'
