New guy from Nashville 1993 Sentra SE-R project

Past projects include a 1985 Toyota Supra (hence the username) made with all junkyard turbo parts, 1991 Mazda 626 junkyard turbo, 1993 Mazda Miata with Eaton Supercharger and a 1966 VW Bug with 12A Rotary swap. Current project is a 1993 Sentra SE-R going turbo. Currently repairing the front end where I rear ended a work truck right in the receiver hitch last Monday. Car should be runnin again in a week or two, then I can get back to collecting parts for the turbo project. :p

Welcome! Is it using off the shelf SR20DET parts, or what?

I don't use much of the shelf stuff... I use Junkyard Parts whenever possible. I have an old IHI turbo and an intercooler from a Saab...my biggest problem now is figuring out the exhaust manifold I want to use top mount

If a bottom mount is OK, you might be able to find a JDM front wheel drive SR20DET manifold for cheap. That's the sort of off the shelf I was thinking here - there's a fair amount of used FWD SR20DET turbo parts floating around.

I was worried about clearance in front of the engine but realized I just moved the fans to the front of the radiator last weekend so I prob have room now for the factory style manifold. I would still have to fab an adapter for the turbo because its not a stock one though. BTW Matt, I just noticed your signature. I have owned several Dodge Darts in the past. Kind of a fan of them still.
