Hello all I am starting my first turbo build and need a community to ask questions and get answers and share in the joy of DIY go fast projects.

I started with computers about 6 years ago and did vary well, not I decided to teach myself to build a racecar and be my own mechanic using the same learning method.

I have bought a 1995 Honda Del Sol SI (1.6 L sohc vtec) (maybe the D16z6 but I am still working on verifying that) (car is amazingly nice and clean 70,000 miles one CV already switched out and alternator is new)

I also bought a nice set of 17" Arelli Assassins (Vary nice rims) with new Yokohama racing ties on them. (great deal on Craigslist)

Now i am working on the Turbo and chip, with headers and air intake and coilovers.

After that a real paint job.

Welcome! If you're not sure what engine version you have, it's stamped or cast into an ID pad on the front of the motor, under the exhaust manifold.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I can't bring it home until the 1st but I will check it then.
