cheers mate, im a kraut here, are you familiar with the turboed 750's that came stock from the factoring? They made a few and i believe it was during the 80's. It was a pretty small turbo, but was turboed, and i think the internals were forged. Been a while. I love cars but motorcycles have always been my first love. I have a harley davidson sporty, if you still want to call it that, that im rebuilding ground up. My friends call it my frankenbike because i "borrowed" parts from other bikes such as ducatti, buell, suzuki, and so fourth. Im cheape and prefer to build my own stuff or modify something to work for me. Cheers and good luck on the build

Hi there.the only turbo bikes we got here in Aus in the 80's were the Kawasaki GPZ 750's,is that what you are refering to? Check out this site Streetfighters - AUSSIE S T R E E T F I G H T E R S - ASF - Australian based Streetfighter, Specials and general bike / motorcycle site, Australia. as there is a few good turbo builds in there. Just dont tell them you got a Harley if you join up.
cheers

hahaha they wouldn't even know it was a harley if they ever saw it. I am a huge fan of streetfighters, as well as cafe's, and have integrated that style in to my harley while still keeping it how i want. Alot of people think since i have a harley it looks and handles like a harley....not the case here. She is extremely light and handles great, thanks to carbon fiber parts, buell xb wheels and brakes along with ducatti front and rear master cylinders, blah blah blah. Oh and she is also stretched 4 inches. I will have to post some pics when i can.
Oh yeah and yes that was the bike i was referring to, beautiful machine. One of my favorite bikes is a yamaha vmax, things are beasts. I love motorcycles reguardless of brand, its all about the life...being free and having fun. I could careless what someone rides as long as they are cool and not a d-bag.
I actually was going to get a buell blast, since there so cheap, replace the cylinder, piston , head and so fourth with one out of the xb so it could be a 600 and boost it. That would be a hellaiously fun bastard bike. I will probly still up doing it eventually. Fun, light, and cheap...mix in some guinness and its on lol.
