07 FJ Cruiser project
 

Been toying around with the idea of putting a turbo on my FJ for about 2 months now. Many have pointed me to this site and I hope to get some real talk from the pros. As soon as I finish this introduction I will enter the tech forums to see what others might have done, but from the research I have done, there is noone in the states that have attempted to turbo a FJ Cruiser. Thanks for the oppurtunity and I hope to return the favor and post a writeup of my progress.

Definitely not a build you see every day - what sort of engine is in it?

Hi Matt! It is a 4.0L V6 pumping out about 260hp. I still am looking for the correct turbo to use, but in the mean time have started buying the plumbing and other stuff for the build. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.

Also, you still have the Dart?

Yes - it's been taking a LONG time as I've had some other projects get in the way.

I have a 71 Duster slant 6 with a Super 6 intake and headers that I can't wait to start working on again. Had to leave it in storage for the last 3 years.
