zg dipstick/ a6 dipstick

does anyone know if theres a diff. between the z6 oil dipstick and the a6 oil dipstick. i have a z6 bottom end and the dipstick was gone when i bought the motor so i put one of my a6 ones in.

next time u do an oil change, put in a appropriate amount of oil for ur engine. check dipstick, if it doesnt read right make a new mark at the new level

Z6 oil dipstick (along with the a6) are crossdrilled the dipstick you dont want is the y8 crank. But either way if you have a good a6/z6 dipstick either will work just as well as the other.
