Re:zc valve adjustment

thats exactly the specs that i did it to but the valve train is still very loud, much louder then when i first got the engine. i replaced the head gasket with a thicker mls one and also put arp head studs in. this is the only reason i have to do the adjustments on the valves. when i took off the head a few of the rocker arms got out of place so they were a little off! and ideas of how to fix my problem would be greatly appreciated!

Re:zc valve adjustment

I always do it like this I use the smallest measurements the manual gives and I make sure that the biggest measurement doesn't even slip thru.
If you have it set the intake at 0.005" ..the 0.007" feeler shouldn't be able to pass thru.
Do the same with the exhaust...use the 0.006 feeler
