Im really interested in buying a zc motor for my civic hatch i was wondering if someone could fill me in on all thee strengthsand weakness's. And what turbo setups work best on the and deliver the most power. Thanks

 

what year civic?

 

If you have a 4th gen civic (88-91) then its a bolt in procedure. your old ecu will even work (if you have a Si).

Pros...
- cheap, 130hp 111tq.
- bolt in
- DOHC design,(non-vtec)

Cons...
- no vtec
- aftermarket not as common (ie cams)
- older engine
- could do a newer d16y8 or z6 has almost same hp but with vtec.
