zc questions

i have a zc in my 89 rex and ive already gone thru a distributor tps and cas i know these distributors suck so is there any upgrades for them or avalible parts to fix them myself.i also have used a si ecu and i notice a little hesitation at low idle could this be the problem. is the 88-89 teg ecu the ideal for the zc

Re:zc questions

PM7 is the best for the ZC, but it has a speed Govenor at 112mph

PG7 88-89 teg ecu (5speed) is the most common ecu, and works just fine with the DOHC ZC.

Re:zc questions

Most D-series ---- fits on the ZC, Pistons/Rods/headers etc..

Valve train componets are hard to find for the ZC.. HKS billet cams are ------- bank.

Get some regrinds done, and you can also use B-series adj cam gears.

Dude just fork out the money for a new one. The junkyard ones seem to die after a little time. I've gone through three of them till my new one. :(
