ZC N/A

Is there any companys that sell parts to build Naturally Asparated ZC, or any parts that will work, like D16Z6 High Compression pistons, or like rods, head gaskets. Thanks

Pistons.. High compression/Low Compression and NA pistons for ZC

http://www.theoldone.com/components/pistons/

You will not want to use D16z6 pistons in a ZC motor, they will not be the correct c/r once you put them in a ZC, due to the differnt size (CC) of the head. I.E, put a 11.1 piston for a z6 in a Zc, you will probably get 10.1

Rods, pretty much all D16's use the same rod's

Eagle/Crower and others all work pretty good. The eagle rods are thicker and cheaper. But the crower's are supposivly a bit stronger with I-beam construction and cost a bit more.

Head gasket, you can pretty much only use a Stock 88-89 integra gasket, or HKS makes performance gaskets for Boosting ZC engines, but they cost alot.

Valve train parts for ZC's are incredibly hard to find parts for, Valve springs/retainers/keepers/valves and even camshafts can be tough to find.

Re:ZC N/A

I had web cams in my zc and they ran very hard. Get a set of sprockets while your at it. Besides that zc are a forgotten motor. Also a typical ecu upgrade will work fairly well. I went 14.10 with 20 inch slicks on my zc without any fi so it's a cheap good base.
