Have blown head gasket on 88 Zc. Told that 88-89 teg gasket will work. Is that true? I really want a metal head gasket, found one from HKS, but i'm not sure i'm ready to fork out $130. Blew gasket on I-4 killing a BMW at 10psi with no intercooler. Anyone know of any cheaper metal gasket alternatives. Not looking to build engine yet just having cheap boosted fun. I now have a front mount!!!

 

I know cometic makes a multilayer gasket for the zc in many differnt bores. I think race engineering has them.
