zc gurus HOLLA!!
 
ive searched and have not been able to come up with a definate answer.

can anyone confirm the SOHC ZC has the pm7 pistons???

SOHC ZC piston= ??????

same designation for ecu and piston i believe.

PM7 is def an ecu

ive never head of pistons that are called pm7 :-\

no they dont have pm7... they are just like the d16a6 pistons... i have a set in my garage.

not the case. if you look on the top of obd0 b16 engines the pistons have pr3 stamped into them.

PM6 pistons are in the SOHC ZC and D16A6.

the USDM 88-89 integra has PM7 pistons, but i am not sure about the JDM ZC.. it would make sense that they also have PM7 seeing as how that is the ZC's respective code, but then the question arrises... where do P29 pistons come from?

from what i've read (no real world experience here, so don't quote me), P29 pistons come from '88-89 integras, but they are identical in construction to the PM7. it's been said that the '86-87 integras have lower compression than the later models - maybe that's where the P29s come from?
