Default ZC Dipstick Help

Well I fried my ZC Dipstick with my old manifold and can't find a comparison at the wreckers in any honda engine. Even the 88-89 Teg one I grabbed are different.

I have a Prelude on that is real long compared to any other so I'm going to make it work.

Can someone do me a favour and measure their and post DIstance: 1 and Distance: 2?
Top line is where the dipstick seats against the Dipstick Tube, not the bottem of the Plastic Grommet.

I replaced mine with an a6 dipstick. I held it up against my old one and they were the same. Mabey Ive never had the real zc stick? Im interested in what the measurement of the real zc one is.

Ya I asked on the ZCR too, I'll see.

They could be the same, it was a long time ago when mine fried and I don't remember fully. I just took an extra long one, put 4litre of oil in and then etched a full mark last time.

Exactly my advise. Doesn't matter where it is from. Just drain/fill to the proper level and then mark the spot and you are accurate.

do you have whats left of your ZC one?

put it next to one thats longer, cut it to the same length. then use a knife or something to engrave the low and high marks on it

ok distance 1 from where the dipstick seats on the tube is 11 3/8" long and distance 2 from center hole to center hole is 3/4" from full to low. these measurments are from my zc dipstick and know they are right so no more guessing and no marking with a knife and gussing. those are the measurements.
