So I swapped in a Z6 into my 91 Si put on my turbo setup and cant get it to start. This is my setup

Z6 motor
A6 intake mani
450 injectors
Golden Eagle Vacumn Mani
T3 turbo
tial wastegate
dsm bov
innercooled
A6 wire harness
A6 dizzy
PM6 chipped by turbo edit


I checked all my wireing vacumn lines grounds. I cant figure it out. It cranks but wont actually start. Any help WILL be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I tried a different dizzy and that didnt work either. I know im getting fuel cause i can smell it. Any help please. Thanks.

checked for spark?
tried stock ECU?

tried stock crx wire harness.... dont use that az6 harness

I tried my chipped ecu and a stock ecu. I used the wiring harness from my crx cause i didnt have the one for the motor.

is it cranking but not starting...check your firing order, i had this problem over the weekend, tried everything, turns out, i had the spark plug wires switched around...LOL. anyways, make sure that is all set right, then also, pull a spark plug out put it back into the wire, (not back inside the hole) then hold a screwdriver to the end of the plug, and have someone crank it, it should shoot a spark, or shock the hell out of you. eitherway, it will tell you, there is spark. if there is spark, its not your dizzy, and if you say you have fuel, i would think its the firing order from there or your timing. its one of those 2 things.

Its cranking strong just wont actually start.

I see puffs of smoke coming out of the exhaust sometimes.

Ive checked the grounds like 5 thousand times.

Made sure the fireing order is right.

Tried messing with ignition timing by moving the dizzy around.

The exhaust manifold is getting warm alittle so I know its trying to start.

Trying some starting fluid stuff. Spray it in the tb and give it a turn. If it starts you have a fuel problem

Not to be a dick but does shooting a fireball out of my open downpipe mean I have a fuel problem? I can smell gas really strong when i crank on it for a while. Ill give it shot though.
