Z6 rebuild..???

Looks like there are many options for the Z6....and I have 200,649 miles...and its time to replace the internals. Can you give me some different choices...like Ls rods...or B16 rods...or aftermarket junk. The car is a 94 ex..coupe. Needs to be faster....will definetly consider turbo also. Can a non sleeved SOHC take 10 psi....safely?? What about head swaps too?? I want to know my options..!!
;D

you want to build the motor? u have a 94 EX. You want to spend money to rebuild the internals, yourself?

might be a good time to get a different engine, a gs-r or b16 drop right in.

Yeah, but nothing is as fun as rebuilding an engine.

1.) Rebuild it. You'll like it more in the long run if you go turbo. Look for deals, like on thepartstrader.com. Buy good rods and pistons. I wouldn't suggest the LS rods, even though they'll fit if you get the small end rebushed. I'd still say do aftermarkets. I've been stashing parts for almost 2 years, and now the hatch is gonna kick some serious ass.
2.) Turbo it. It's more fun. Plus, that's the only way you can make real power out of a Z6 without goin silly crazy expensive on porting and all that crap.
3.) A non sleeved Z6 will take 10psi all day long, as long as it's well managed. Get a Hondata, at least a cheap one. No RRR (rising rate regulator) is gonna work.

If you want to make a lot more power, it's gonna cost you either way, It's just a matter of how much you want to spend. Like I said, shop around. You'll find a deal if you look hard enough.
