Default z6 pistons/rods in my y7?

My friend has a set of SRP piston part # 149199 and eagle H-Beam ESP....Crs5394h3d.. Never ended up using them in his turbo z6. Would those go into my y7? Or is there something different between the 2 sohcs?

well the bore size and rod length should be the same unless they made those oversize but im not sure what your compression is going to be. call srp up and see if they can figure that out for u.

So what your saying is it will bump the compression a bit?... Right now theyll be 9.1 compression. OEM is 9.4:1?? I beleive. Either way sounds iite to me.

http://www.jepistons.com/pdf/2002-sp...-srp-honda.pdf the only difference between the z6 (149199's) and the y7 (149208's) is the gram size.. the z6 is 228, and the y7 is 281.. what would that effect?

less mass=faster rotation IE its kinda like adding a lightened flywheel to a car. you wont get taht much power out of it but i highly doubt it iwll make any diffrence.

Also.. would all the bearings from a z6 fit a y7? The kid had all the bearings to replace hes gonna give me with the pistons/rods. I'm trying to decide if I should do it. Complete z6 vtec swap, internals, bearings $1,000. I'm scared tho with the z6 pistons and z6 head that itll send my compression to hell.
