z6 IM on a6: any advantages??
 
Just like it says guys...I have a COMPLETE z6 intake manifold(mani, fuel rail, injectors, fpr, etc.) WILL it bolt to and function properly(looks like some of the wiring and vacuum lines is different)on an a6,AND would I be able to see any significant gains from doing so???...let me know fellas...peace

youll notice NOTHING.....its the same mani...just for a 92+..w/ sat. injectors....not p&h like yours. sell it if you dont need it....

I've got one of these too, yes it is a direct fit, but it is short on one sensor. On the back. I don't remember which one, but I can find out on the Mitchell. Eventually this may find it's way to my car, although highly unlikely. I did use the fuel rail. Just have to drill 2 holes for mounts. "Nicer" then rexs' rail by far. The sensor on the side of #4 port on A6 moves to rear of #3 port on Z6. Right now I grind away at it when I'm bored.
