z6 head on a b7block should i do it...

i have a b7 block in my 91 hatch and i was wondering if i should put my z6 head on with a rpm switch or rebuild the a6 block that has a broken connecting rod(then put the z6 on that)? right now i am tight on cash and would like a little more performance out of my car...

right now i have one vote for no..

so any one that has a z6 head on there b7 come forward and tell me whats up...

I would say, slap that head on the b7 block.

indeed, the a6 vs the b7 in stock form with a vtec head is very comparable to each other, you probably wouldnt notice the 5-7hp differnce. Plus, if you "broke a rod" in your A6, I am guessing thier is more damage then you think..

Probably about 20-25hp or so.
