z6 block y8 head?
 
i hear that arp head studs had problems with this but i also hear that they dont whats up?

itll work if you use y8 studs

cuz the stock y8 had ONE head stud that is shorter then the rest. due to fitment in the head. u must use arp y8 or oem y8 studs.

so your telling me the z6 stud will be too long right? ill just double the washer then, will fix it right away.

i used z6 arp studs with 8 washers on each bolt :-\ :-X

u used the z6 studs yesterday on them didnt even have to put anything on just the washer that came with it. fits fine torqued down to 65ft lbs ok.

which bolt was shorter? i put together a z6 block/ y8 head with the z6 head bolts and the #4 cylinder leaked but i thought it was a bad headgasket. any idea?
