Default y8 on y7

hi, ill be starting my turbo project next week and I decided to use a y8 IM on my y7 ? I didn’t see anything about them on here, so if anyone has any experience on this let me know.

Yeah you need to convert from a 3 wire IAC to a 2 wire.

can i just use my TB ? if not i think that the IM is from a AT cuz it has a 3 wire iacv.

never mind about the TB, but it seems that I have the y8 from an A/T so it has the iacv on the TB. so can I just plug the iacv and adjust my idle with the screw. I know ill have a cell, but dose that even matter ? any more ideas would be appreciated.

you wont have a cell if u leave it plugged in and blocked but u might idle like ---- especially if you start turning on your accessories (A/C, radio. lights, etc.)
