i wanta use a y8 on a d16z6 bottom. is there any mod i have to do or will it juss bolt right on

 

I was just aboput to make the same post... i was looking at getting a new block to build up, and I have a D16Y8, and was wondering if I should use a Y8 bottom end or could I use a z6 bottom end? I knwo the Y8's eat bearings like a fat kid with cake and they have shitty oil pumps...

 

everything pretty much bolt up, u need to extend the wires/hoses here and there. but if it is a singal cam vtec already i`d leave it alone

get a Z6 and forget the y8 head
