cool, thanks for the info. that must mean i can rev to 8k and be golden. i probably wont even go past 6k until i get used to it. maybe even lower than that.

hopefully by end of summer i will at least have the motor an mounts in my possession, which im sure by then chris will have me a very nice low millage block....

then i will have to look for a nice ls trans. since i do a lot of highway driving ill need it. ive always wanted a ls swapped hatch, now im gonna have me a Frankenstein hatch!!

 

No b20z in japan, there all b20b; although some are high comp it just not a z.

 

i also forgot to ask you Chris, what would you estimate the hp range im looking at? just so i can get a stiff one in my pants thinking about it till i get the thing in the car. if its above 140 hp on stock parts than im happy. i was also thinkin about getting some cams.

 

Most likely about around 160 at the wheels.

 

i hope your not shitting me man!!!!!! if i get that much hp out of a ls head sitting on top a b20b block then hell ya. i also planned on getting a header since i will be na for a while. now it comes down to intake choices as well. not sure what to get in that department.

lol. i dont want to deal with vtec thats why i stay away from it. i had a d16z6 head that i sold because i didnt want to go through the hassle with it and wiring. dosent matter to me though, fatty cams in a ls head and a tune and im all good.

 

140 whp should be doable with the set up your planning

yeah i already have a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with a resonator and glasspack that sounds **** right now. so i think a header will wake it up some more. then toss a 50-75 wet shot behind it..... :1
