WTF?!?!?!

I was driving into town to meet up with some friends and play some football, then all of a sudden my car started to bog down, i had no acceleration. At first i was like ---- cause i was like 30 miles from home. Then, since there was no CEL, and i was near where i was going to play football i kept the car in first gear and slowley made my way there. Once there i started to look the car over, nothing apperared to be wrong. All of my belts were tight and on, i had oil and water and then i though to myself it could only be one of a few things. Either one of my spark plugs werent firing, something was going on with my injectors, or my catalytic converter was clogged. I couldnt figure out what ie was. so i said ---- it and started to play some football. At halftime i walked back over to the car and drove it around the parking lot near where we were playing and it seemed like it was strugglingin first second and third gear. after that i said i was going to try to make it home. Then out of no where on my way home the problem seemed to go away but i keep thinking that something is wrong with the car so it seemed like it was running like ---- the whole way home. Until i got near my house and opened her up and she ran fine. Any idea what the hell it could be?

could be something with your fuel. fuel pump, fuel filter? you should take it to get a diagnostics(sp) check. but if its a honda, take it to the honda dealer. i wouldent get it checked out any where else.

do you have a cold air intake . sounds like you sucked up some moisture into your engine and then burned it off.

Aaaahhhh....carbed...that's ur problem. The carbs on those are notorious for gumming up. I would clean them thoroghly, throw some carb cleaner through it, and then try it. Everyone i've ever known with a carbed prelude always has this problem.
