Wrist Pins

On Hondas are the wrist pins supposed to come off easy or should i have to bring it to a machine shop?

For some reason mine are stuck on the stock rods...

What do u guys think?

Re:Wrist Pins

they are pressed in, not like most aftermarket ones....see how there are no clips holding them in on the ends?

Re:Wrist Pins

is the hole on the eagle rods the same size or bigger than the stockers?

Re:Wrist Pins

the hole on the eagle rods are smaller because the eagle rods are designed for it to be instaled by hand, and the stock wrist pins are shorter than the after market ones.

Re:Wrist Pins

I've gotta do this soon too, just I'm putting y7 pistons on D15 rods... I'm just gonna go the the machine shop, I tried to do it with a hammer, and they won' budge, so I figure a few bucks to a machine shop won't hurt...

well if the pin is pressed into the rod you dont need clips, like the stock ones...i guess its the rod not the piston that matters as far as pressed/floating is concerned...take it to the machine shop
