WIRING HELP!! obdo-obd1 and dpi to mpfi??
i got a 1990 crx dx so its dpi
i have the b18b1 motor in the car and i bought a 94 civic harness because i read how i could just use the b18b obd1 ecu and hook it up to the 94 civic harness and i dont have to do the mpfi conversion or the obd0 to obd1 is this true? anyone else ever done it like this? can someone point me to a website to better help me with this other than just sending me to rywire or a link that sells premade harnesses i have the rest of the harness for the 94 though all the way to the injector clips so can someone give me some help on what to do. |
Re: WIRING HELP!! obdo-obd1 and dpi to mpfi??
If you have the engine bay harness you could run it all the way to the ECU I suppose.
I would really think that doing the MPFI swap and then running a conversion harness is the tried and true way. |

http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm
click the how to link on the left hand side and go from there.. i found it pretty useful for some things.. lot of wiring info has dpfi to mpfi info and OBD0 to OBD1 |

The ecu plugs into the interior harness so that is not going to work. You really should just do a mpfi swap and then grab a OBD0-1 conversion harness for 90-100 I think Tuner Toys has them.Any other way is a stupid amount of work and will just lead to hassles.I have a complete SI interior harness as well if you need one.
