Wired sound when driving...Need help please

Default Wired sound when driving...Need help please
Sometimes when I'm driving, regardless of speed, I heard a pingging sound. It sounds like 2 pieces of metal smacking/hitting each other.

Sounds like it's coming from the front end of the car.

Also, I'm boosting; been boosted for about a year now.

Stock gsr motor on 5 psi.


It drives fine everytime, but sometimes that noise just comes and goes.

Is it dependent on how much throttle,rpm etc?Need more info.

completely random.

So far it has been in 1st gear only.

When the noise occured, I reeved after it and it didn't come back.

So it's not rpm dependent

I think it might be my HID ballasts, i tighend them down today.
