Will a z6 cam work in a y8?

I busted my fucken cam and can't seem to find a new one (y8). Plenty of z6 cams being sold. Is it possible? Thanks

I was thinking the same thing, but then I'd have to go new springs/retainers. Unless I get a ----- cam. More money, more problems. :(

lift is diff on the y8 but the z6 will fit in no problem.

there is like 5 degrees difference between the two, but I dont know if its the cam itself or on the gear. DO NOT get a bullfrog cam. They are soft shitty regrinds. If you want to get real good at adjusting valves then get one, because you'll do it about every month. Maybe it was just my experince but I hated mine. It pulled real strong from 3500 to rev limit-- wanted more revs;but it was noisy as hell and just kept wearing down.
