88 si trannys are useless since they use goofy clutches, and most l3 trannys are growling with all kinds of bearings problems. The newer y8 trannys use steel shift forks which are alot stronger than the old l3's (and 5g trannys). If I was planning on building a D-series and sticking with a EF I would be looking into it as well. Let us know whatcha find.

well i guess ill be using the b mount, whatever is cheaper but still a good price and guess making or finding someone to make me a mount

 

its also possable to conver the cable clutch to hydro.. its an interesting prosess

 

yeah i seen sum one put a hydrolic setup in their car but i think its easier/better to just make a bracket so you can just use your cable?

 

here is the hasport b series hydro tranny kit. its not going to be perfect for the d series but you get the idea what it looks like.
