Will a P07 VTEC-E ECU Work With 11:1CR D15Z w/ Z6 Head?
I'm putting together a D15Z for my girlfriends hatch. I'll be using a D16Z6 head and Y7 or Y8 pistons.
The Stock CR in the D15Z was in the 9's. Now with the increase in CR to ~11:1 I'll have to somehow keep the timing retarded enough so it doesn't ping.
I'm just wondering I can still use the P07 (VTEC-E ECU) with this setup and retard by setting the dizzy back, or do I need to get a chipped ECU?

po7=paper weight
get a chipped p28 unless you like broken motors and you like a motor you built run like ***
Timing with all motor d builds are tricky depending on head etc used
