ok I have a a6 swap in my 97 civic right now it's boost runs ok but i can't get the timming right with the z6 dizzy. so I was wondering if the orignal a6 dizzy will work in the obd1 ecu or not? are the pickup right will I have any problems with it? i have the plugs to rewire just need to know if it will work thanks guys

am I correct in thinking the pickups are a differnt style? and if the a6 dizzy won't work would a d15b7 dizzzy work. looks like the bolt hole would like up correct and the heads look the same.

Yes a D15b7 will work.

thanks. I thought maybe a b7 would work. I also heard something about a y8 dizzy working aswell? if thats the case aren' y7 and y8 dizzys the same. hope so cause I got a y7 lieing around.

Y8 is the same thing as b7, part numbers even match up according to joey, dunno about y7. You've got it lying around ,try it and tell us.
