Default wierd *** colling issue (over cooling)

the problem im having: temp guage only goes up close to normal during when im not drivng (just stand still idel) but if i drive on the fee way it drops down and stays there

before it did not do that

changes to set upulled out the gay b20 that blew and droped a LS in after i noticed this problem i swapped the T stat from the B20 and still same problem

i always had the mishimoto radiator it much bigger than stock but did not have this issue until i swapped motors

and my heather is not as hot as it used to be my water temp is about 140 or so i guessing cuz the guage dosent drop to the ground just to the lower bar and not below it (like when i first start it on a cold morning)

aslo this ---- gave me issues wehn tunning after standing stopped i do a pull and it gets leaner 12.8 12.9 in boost when the last pull before standing still idling a few minuts was 11.5,11.8 so i set my ect multiplier in crome to be the same as temp rises to over come that issue..

any ways any input thanks

My lil brother's toreass (ford taurus) did this same thing even after changing the thermostat. Well after having no heat for a yr I decide to change his heater core since he didn't have any heat and he was coming home for 2 weeks from the military right before christmas. Guess what.... No issues. Moral of the story; check all your hoses when your motors cold and make sure everything is flowing correctly.

i got the same problem on my d16 with dual core rad. Problem started after switching radiators. Haven't tried replacing the tstat yet, but then again I'm not too concerned about it yet.
