why can't I find acl bearings for a y8?

All the acl bearings I can find say there for a d16a/d16z. I cannot find them for a y8 but, I know people have used them. Will the d16/d16z ones work in a y8?

I would but, im using tt rods so the color codes aren't going to be the same. I have debated on which bearing to use and i have found no one having any problems with acl's. I have even figured out which colors I would need. I was acually thinking about using honda bearings for the mains and acl's for the rods.

That's why you measure your clearnances, do some research and find out what size honda bearings you need, it's not hard.

What are TT Rods sized to, Eagles are supposed to be #2 Honda bore.

A6 = Z6 = Y8

I thought the y8's were bi-metal construction and a6/z6 were tri-metal...
