I have had three different crx's (non turbo) in the past, all with different ram air intakes, and while driving at about quarter to half throttle, there seems to be a loud whistling noise coming from the intake side. Does this happen to anybody else? And it doesn't make the noise at light throttle or full throttle.

yeah, well, anything is better than the stock intake box, whether it be a homemade bendable pipe or a ching chong ebay one...

 

yes.......a 2 foot pipe that sucks in hot air radiating from the exhaust and from the radiator fan adds performance. congratulations.....$50 bucks for a wicked cool whistle sound at half throttle.

 

There's a reason aftermarket intakes don't make more power on a F20C... there's nothing wrong with Honda intakes.

 

It would actually be classified as a "cool air" intake simply cause most have that port going to the fender.....
and 1 going into a box behind the fender.......
