d16 rods will not work in the d15, the rod journals on the d16 crank are bigger than the d15 therefore the big end diameters are different, use the stock rods they are plenty strong unless your going completely nuts (although I am curious why you would throw money into building a d15 that wont perform as well as a mild b1 you can have your rods reconditioned at any competent machine shop, may as well have them shot peened also

The d15 cylinder is stronger than the d16. Thats what I have heard. But I think if you get around 20psi you might want to have to resleeve the block before you do that. It might crack and that would suck. Thats just my thoughts on that. Better to be safe than sorry. Why are you going d15. Buy a d16z6 or Y8. They are way better as far as head flow and stronger. Or the B18. You will get fed up with you d series real quik because they have no torque. And they can be had for pretty cheap. Just the block by itself. Then buy the head from some one that did and ls/vtec. Cheap. And as I mean cheap I mean cheaper than a whole engine. I would do it right the first time and get the right engine. Sure it will be more money in the long run but just save up. It will be worth it.

305whp is sad? Have you ever rode in a civic with even 200hp. Its crazy fast. I don't thinkt that you know what you are getting yourself into. I think that you will find a block. Just keep posting or i will find you one. Its simple. Watch.
