Re: Where can i get a copper head gasket?
why the hell you want copper? you want a cometic head gasket, mls ( multi layer steel) but honestly i would use an oem honda gasket, thats the only thing i trust.....oem honda will hold whatever you throw at it, as long as you use arp head bolts or studs....

Re: Where can i get a copper head gasket?
if you buy a copper head gasket, you will need to get the head or block (or both) O-ringed, this usually costs around 150 bucks in labor at a machine shop. SCE recommends using Hylomar as a sealing around the coolant jackets as well.
SCE's gaskets are cheap, but sometimes the labor of oringing makes it tooo spendy, I think stock OE gaskets with a set of ARP's is the way to go. |
