Only the 88 has a different spline count. If you use an 89-95 flywheel you can use an 89-95 clutch since they are bigger.

... its the 90-00 d series 5 speed flywheel u can use. the 89 cluch is a smaller diameter. uses the same # of splines tho.( some web sites say u can also use the 01 flywheel??)

God damn you. That's what I meant.

I ordered a 90+ flywheel for my 89 so I can use the bigger clutch disk.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the 92+ flywheels lighter than the 90-91?
