What would you do?

I am buying a y8 for 50 bucks so I'm going to start building it but, can't decide on pistons or to post it or fill it. I am going to use tt rods and arp headstuds.

Might as well just spend a few extra bucks and get some SRP's.

Use TT rods, SRP pistons, a Z6 oil pump, pickup, and oil pan. Thank me later. ;)

Then you can tell him where you put the dipstick when you are done. :P

Why you gonna pimp my sweet motor plans on the internet steve? ;)

If you have the motor out of the car, keep it that way until the build is finished. Makes things hella easy.

I would say post it with the SRP's. Posting is almost free support for the cylinders regardless of how effective you feel it is. It isn't like it damages things, or costs you an arm and a leg.

What are the advatages of a z6 oil pump, pickup, and pan? Kinda leaning toward the vitara pistons because of money. They will support 300hp right?
