D16z6 turbo would you either build the whole bottom end sleeves pistions rings rods hole 9 and then leave the top end stock and boost the ---- out of it or would you rather save the money from the sleeves install a block guard and build the bottom and top end with cams gears everything. May sound stupid to ask most people would build both and forget the sleeves but i wounder how many people would rather have a bulletproof bottom end. And yes i have considered block filling.

simple answer is how fast and how much power do you want. A properly built block is not cheap around 1500 without sleeving. This is machined and basically the right way. Sleeved block add another 800 or. Its always comes down to funds.

if you leave the sleeves stock and build bottom end and top end youll be good but in the future if you want to get more power safely and want to sleeve it, it wouldnt be as easy.. if you get full bottom end including sleeves you can build the top end later when you have some more money IMO
