Default What motor to drop in the sack???

alright even though i will put whatever the hell i want in a 90 crx si :P but, i wanted to see your peoples opinions probably a b series v-tech, was seriously thinkin bout an h22, but too many people bitch, oooo its too much fabrication, dont stear right, too much weight in the front, stop cryin, im damn impressed with the 1/4 mile times h22's push out in early civics. just cant find a mount kit for that bit.

so gimme some seggestions

dont know if i really want a frankinstien motor, heard they dont last that long. cuz a ls block wasnt made to rev up as high as a v-tec, but maybe and i dont care bout your v-tech phone, dont be a dousche :P or however you spell that one either

fine, gs-r wise ***. lol

b18 vtec. (c1/c5)

if money is of no concern a type R would be bitchin.

b16b or b18c5 (jdm b18c spec R)

The biggest reason ls/vtec is popular is its cost and ease of installation. all over gsr (b18c1) motors are atleast obd1 and require wiring changes. a ls/vtec is all obd0 (ls block and b16a1 head) which makes it easy to install.

uh yeah that motot is a bit pricey, i got allmost a whole b18a1 engine(minus tranny, clutch,harness,and ecu) in my garage, thinkin bout buildin an ls/vtec, but dunno, maybe if i can find a b16 for not that much i'd rather have that

youe not a douche 88 i was talkin to chacko cuz i put a h in the end of v-tec :P

what is your budget? If youallready have most of a ls/vtec i would go for it. i like the B16B motors alot but tehy are expensive as hell.

i have a budget but dont know exactly what it is. its just gotta be done by march of 04. yeah those b16b's are expensive, im just gonna go paycheck to paycheck, i gotta b18 block with most of the ---- on it that i took out my integra
