So, I'm not a honda guy. I'm just building this car for my girlfriend because its the car she wants. Anyway she has a TON of parts lying around in the garage and I stumbled upon this today. What car (or engine) did this come from? Can it be swapped onto an A6 without modification? Will the A6 throttle body line up? Where do I run the vac. lines on this (which goes where)? Is the swap going to be worth it, or will it just be a waste of my time? Anyone know where to get the manual (online) for the car this was on (don't tell me to look in the stickied forum, most of those are dead links)? Thanks.

Thanks. Anyone else want to chime in on the other questions? Also, where is the IAT sensor on it? it sure isn't in the same spot as it is on the A6 IM.

 

no iat on 96+ manifolds it was located in the intake. and no the a6 throttle body does not line up not even close

Yep, a b series will line up. I found a writeup on the swap (google owns me) and it looks like more of a bitch than I want to do before the races this weekend. I'll just wait to put it on until I rip the engine out of the car and rebuild it.
