I would go with Bone on the Y8 manifold thing, and you're still running a few degrees too much timing up top, but I wouldn't expect either of those to kill a motor that quick..

 

the timing Im gonna say isnt to aggresive but the failure most likely is a beat old motor that was ready to go already



All these my stock z6 or z6 w/ vitaras made god amount of power is getting out of control. These motors are old and the fact they have small rods and you have a motor with 150k already wants to **** odd rod bearings being drivin by a gammy means this is what happens

 

Yeah, I agree with you. There's nothing about that timing map that would kill a motor in short order unless it was ready to pop anyways.

 

of course timing is based at the dist so if it was not a factory settings now we have an issue but Im gonna stick with my gut
