hi,

Im looking for my PCV valve to replace it. Got my oil filter off, and searched for it. Next to my oil filter there is a big block of foam with metal under it.

What is this ? is my pvc under it ? can i trow the block away so my oil pressure sensor will fit ?
And...more important, how the ---- am i going to get its off ? ive seen 1 bolt the rest i can't see. There is just SOO little room there.

i dont know what foam thing your talking about but your looking in the wrong place for a pcv valve. buy a maintenance manual and you wont have to ask simple questions.

i'm looking for a good workshop manual....can't find anything around here. All honda's besides the crx :S.
I do have the digital version of a workshop manual but it doesn;t say anything about the pvc valve

the pvc valve is on the intake manifold. Follow that big tube coming out the front of the intake plenum to where the intake runners are, you'll see the valve. (between two runners)

as you can see, the big vacuum hose you mean is shown in the picture. it goes between the intake runners to the big black box. But you mean that the pcv is actually located between the two runners ?? i always read that is was somewere on the block itself

you're looking on the wrong side.

get out from under your car, go to the top side of the motor, and look again.

the pcv valve in my car 99si b16 is under the fuel rail on the intake manifold. hope that helps. should be the same on a d series.

yeah D's (er, y8's anyway) have the valve in a breather box next to the oil filter.
