what to expect with this setup...

Well, since my last engine blew and i didnt have any money, i had to trade my vortech charger for a complete gsr swap. I am gonna be NA for awhile till i sell enough stuff to put together a turbo setup.
For the time being, i will have the gsr bottom end and tranny. A b16 head with type r cams. DC jdm style 4-1 header with no cat and a thermal exhaust. Aem intake. And hondata dyno tuned. This is in my 99 civic si. What can i expect out of this car till i go turbo?
Would a mid 14 sec quarter be out of the question with what i have?

got it dynoed, and kinda tuned
got 121 torque and 150 hp runnin pretty much 12.0:1 a/f all the way across. plan to turbo in the next few weeks so i wasnt too worried about that

with the b16 head on a b18c block? that's not bad at the wheels, that would be about 180 bhp, which is what the gsr is rated at, it's better than a stock b16 i guess.

yeah, i know....i just didnt really want to pay more dyno time than i had to since i plan to be turboed soon

my setup is a aem sri, dc jdm 4-1 header, no cat, thermal exhaust. hondata, gsr block and tranny, b16 head with type r cams....not too bad i guess. i was suprised at the torque.
i plan to go to the track this weekend for the hell of it. hopefully i can squeeze out a high 14...is that possible?

yeah, you should prolly be able to pull off a mid to high 14.

well thats a great idea except that once you go turbo you'll be stickin more air in the engine and will have to re-tune it anyways cuz you'll be WAY to lean if you leave it that way.

i guess i should have been more clear
since i am going turbo very shortly, i didnt want to spend any more than i had to for dyno time
