Default Welding Differential

ok i though about this and it seams like something i might want to try out... seeing how my EX tranny grinds in third now and i pretty much dont give a ---- about it at this point... so my question is how diffucult is it or would it be to weld the Diff together so both tires will have traction at the same time? anyone have pics? and would it be ok to still run the power steering?

Weld 4 spots here, and flip it around, and weld 4 more spots

So you just weld the gears to that deal in the middle? That's not bad. The hard part is getting that bitch out. I should have practiced more on my junk tranies.

your car is going to be unstreetable. Theres a kid around me who welded his diff. He'll give you the thing its so useless. The car will hop around corners like crazy. Your not going to be able to turn the car becuase the car will want to constantly go in a straight line. So anything above a 20mph turn your going to have to fight with the car like crazy.

With all that said, give it a try and good luck

I think it would be fun if it wasn't a daily driver. Not the best thing to do, but the cheapest for sure. I wouldn't even consider doing this on a daily driver.
