Want to ditch the greddy kit need advise
to start off i have a 93 hatch with a 15g greddy kit(with fmi and greedy already installed when i bought the car. the turbo started leaking and i got the normal we cant rebuild it from my local shops. its would be between 300-400$ to ship it to i also have a 2nd gen dsm sitting in my garage i can steal the t25 from. im more looking for a reliable set up all the research ive done has said...
-the greddy mani uses the t2 flange -nissan t25s(maybe the gt28r(s)?) fit on the (greedy) flange but dsms do not -if i use the dsm t25 i need a new mani and a custom down pipe is it worth the rebuild or use the dsm t25 or sell my kit and start piecing together a t28 or t3/t4 set up and build up my internals? |
It depends. Do you want to get similar performance and back on the road for cheap, or more performance?

I'd just go looking for a turbo that bolts on - possibly off someone who's ditching a Greddy kit for something bigger.
